We stand at the front of developments not only in the products and services we provide our customers, but in all our managerial and business practices. We have, for example, been actively engaged for more than 30 years in environmental conservation activities and the smoke-free movement. The years to come will see no let up in our efforts in these areas. |

| We are committed to engagement with environmental and social issues, in line with our management philosophy and policies. The World Wildlife Fund and the Wild Bird Society of Japan are two non-governmental organizations of which we are currently members, and through these and various similar activities, we strive to fulfill our responsibilities as a world citizen. |
